Alternatively, you can Fax your prescription request. Fax Number: 01207 585892.
Please allow 2 full working days for prescription processing and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Urgent prescriptions Requests received after 12 noon will be available for collection at reception the following day.
If you need your medication earlier than it is due (in exceptional circumstances) please discuss this with the practice prescription staff. If no discussion takes place, the prescriptions will have the date on which we calculate the medication would normally be due, usually 28 days after the previous prescription.
If you have recently had your medication changed at the hospital, please let us know to make sure we have received notification from the hospital of any medication or dose changes to your prescription.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
