Eligible cohorts in spring 2024

• adults aged 75 years and over
• residents in care homes for older adults
• individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the Green Book, chapter 14a; tables 3 and 4)

Visits to older adult care homes and eligible housebound patients should begin on the 15^th April 2024. For all other eligible cohorts, vaccinations should start by 22^nd April 2024 and end on 30^th June 2024.

Please do not contact the surgery, we will be in touch with eligible patients once vaccines become available and we have clinics arranged to book your appointment.

Have you got a non-urgent problem with your feet?

You don't need to come and see your GP anymore!  Our patients can refer themselves directly to Podiatry at County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust to be seen and treated.

All you need to do is complete the below link or email cdda-tr.centralbooking@nhs.net they will then send you an electronic referral form to complete and return to them. You can also contact them by telephone on 01388 455 200

This could save you up to 3 weeks' worth of waiting by avoiding the need for a GP referral.

Dr Graham retired as a GP at Queens Road Surgery on the 31^st August 2023, after being with the Practice for 17 years.

We would like to wish him all the best for the future and thank him for all his hard work and dedication over the years.

Please be aware following the government announcement yesterday that Covid vaccines will be offered from 11 September to certain patients, that we cannot make appointments for this yet as we don’t know when we will get supplies.

Once we know when our vaccines will be delivered we will arrange a clinic and invite eligible patients in.
